8人獲葉明逸獎學金
（民都魯 23日訊）葉明逸教育基金會主席葉紹良稱，雖然他的父親丹斯里葉明逸於不久前逝世，但是該教育基金會將會秉承其父的遺志，每年持續頒發獎學金，以協助家境貧寒且成績優異的學生完成學業。 32年來惠及307人 葉紹良今午在貴賓酒店召開的新聞發布會上說，葉明逸是於1984 年慶祝 70歲生日時，宣佈成立“葉明逸基金會”，並捐出100萬令吉作為基金，協助及鼓勵成績優異但家境貧寒的學生繼續深 造。 “今年有 20名學生申請葉明逸獎學金，當中有 8 名申請者獲錄取。32 年來，葉明逸基金會共有 307 名受惠者。” 葉紹良稱，除了今年獲錄取的8 名學生外，尚有 16名在國內外大學深造的學生還在接受獎學金。受惠學生不需要償還獎學金，但是葉明逸教育基金會對受惠者有個要求，即受惠生畢業後，必須回到砂拉越各領域工作至少3年。 他呼籲今年或過去申請葉明逸獎學金未被錄取的學生，明年繼續提出申請。 葉明逸基金會主席葉紹良（左二）公佈葉明逸獎學金得獎名單。左起為秘書邱寶瑩、委員許政璋、王振西。
